You’re likely to fish for Speckled Trout, Redfish, Flounder, Striped Bass, Sheepshead, Black Drum, Bluefish, and more, depending on conditions. You can expect to do some spinning, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.

Planning a family adventure? Kids are absolutely welcome! If you don’t have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there’s one on board. And, you can’t go wrong with snacks so that nobody gets grumpy on an empty stomach!

You’ll find yourself aboard a 22’ C-Hawk bay boat with room for 3 passengers. It comes with all the essentials. Capt. Gregory will provide rods and reels for you, as well as lures. Live bait is included, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you’ll be catching it yourself.

You will need to purchase a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.

You can’t go wrong when you bring a hat, sunglasses, bottled water, and sunblock (non-spray). Alcohol is allowed in moderation, so long as you avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
