You'll step aboard a 19' Aluminum fishing boat that holds up to 3 passengers. It comes with all the essentials.
Your captain will provide rods and reels, along with lures. Live bait is on offer, but it's good to ask about this so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.
Before coming aboard, you may need to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off-limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect.
You can't go wrong when you bring sunglasses, bottled water, and sunscreen (non-spray). If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but try to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

5 Hour Afternoon Trip on August 27, 2024
I’m handicap; must use a Cain or a rolator. No problem with Louie. He took care of me like I was his Father since I’m 67 yrs of age. His boat seats are so comfortable! They supported my broken down spine. Louie knows Pelican Lake intimately! He has all the modern necessities like radar. Hummingbird fish finder, modern trolling motor hooked up to his fish finder. All of new poles & reels. Used leeches on jig heads & rappela swim baits. Louie met all of my needs including a massive & compassionate bear hug to left me out of his boat. A great & stable 19 ft deep V aluminum Lund boat during a massive change in the weather. Though catching fish during the 5 hour trip was slow compared to what Louie was use to, we caught fish. I hooked a beautiful 19 to a 20” walleye that gave me a fight but Louie had the net ready & guided me right to his net for a great keeper. Also caught some nice bass. What a beautiful trip. If my body cooperates, I’ll fish with Louie anytime & take my wife & 9 yr old granddaughter with us! Thankyou Louie! You’re the best! My friend!
