My name is Captain Vlad and I am inviting you to join me for trip of a lifetime fishing for salmon, trout and walleye. Should you wish, your catch will be cleaned and filleted to be cooked and served at the family dinner.
You will be fishing in a 26ft Albemarle 265 Fisherman Express, new for 2025 season! This boat is equipped with a very powerful 375HP Volvo Penta and a 9.9 HP Yamaha kicker.
This boat is fully rigged for big water with latest electronics and it ensures a comfortable fishing experience.
Though I am relatively new to Great Lakes and chartering, I am very enthusiastic and meticulous about the proper trip planning, execution and achieving results. This ensures success, trip after trip, even on the toughest days on the lake.
All guests are automatically entered into the SCGFA Spring Salmon Derby, the GOSD Salmon Derby, and the SCGFA Fall Derby. Over the past seasons, I am proud to say that all I have won and shared over $10,000 in prizes with my guests.
Guests are asked to bring only their favorite snacks and drinks, fishing license. I will always call you the day before and advise on proper clothing as well for the upcoming trip. We have everything else on the boat including high-quality 60 SPF sunscreen that we use in our family.

I want to express my huge gratitude to Vlad for organizing an unforgettable fishing experience! 🐟 Everything is top-notch — modern equipment that makes the process as comfortable and efficient as possible. But the most impressive thing is Vlad himself: during the entire fishing trip, he literally doesn't sit idle for a minute, always nearby, helping, guiding, and creating a great atmosphere. You can feel that he truly puts his heart into what he does, and his main goal is to give clients amazing emotions, not just to make money. I've been fishing with Vlad twice, and both times it felt like a little celebration. All the friends I brought along were absolutely thrilled! SMACKDOWN!!!!! Captain Vlad, Smackdown Sport fishing. We were out at the crack of dawn started slow but just like that fish were on! Captain Vlad made our experience joyful with professional knowledge, great stories, and all around great laughs. We have been out with many charters and Smackdown ( Captain Vlad ) by far was our favourite. If you're looking for a reel family oriented Charter I would definitely recommend this charter.

Just wrapped up my second trip with Captain Vlad, and it was even better than the first! We landed over a dozen big, hard-fighting fish—nonstop action and an absolute blast from start to finish. It wasn't the easiest day out on the water—conditions made us work for it—but every minute was worth it when we landed a stunning 15 lb King salmon! The sunrise over the lake was absolutely breathtaking, and Captain Vlad's boat was fully loaded with top-notch gear to give us the best chance at success. Captain Vlad was professional, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about what he does. His experience and calm attitude made the whole trip smooth and enjoyable. The boat setup was impressive—clean, well-organized, and equipped for serious fishing. Highly recommend this charter to anyone looking for an authentic and rewarding Lake Ontario fishing experience. I had a great first time fishing experience in Lake Ontario and was able catch , both trout and King Salmon. Captain Vladislav Muravin is extremely skilled and knowledgeable in not just the core fishing activities but also the science and latest tech that goes into the same. He was very particular in ensuring I was able to reel in every fish and that I was happy and engaged, during entire trip.
