We specialize in Walleye during the early spring and summer months, and Perch during the late summer and early fall.

Trips with Wally J Fishing Charters are great for kids, so feel free to make a family day out of it! Kids are half price with a paying adult! (We can discuss kid's pricing when we talk prior to the charter.) If you don't have a child-sized life vest of your own, there's one on board. You're welcome to bring snacks so that everyone stays happy and energized!

You'll be welcome aboard a 22' Skeeter with a 350hp Yamaha that can carry up to 5 passengers. It is equipped with top of the line graphs, GPS, and trolling motors.

You'll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, along with lures. Live bait will be provided if that's what the fish are requesting that day.

Before coming aboard, you will need to buy a Michigan fishing license for everyone age 16 and over in your group.

It's recommended to bring sunglasses, sunblock, and plenty of drinks. We do have a separate cooler for food, so the catch of the day isn't swimming around your sandwich! Rain gear and additional layers of clothing are always a good idea, too, because Mother Nature is crazy sometimes.  Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just be sure to avoid hard liquor, as well as glass bottles.
