Species like Walleye, Yellow Perch, Smallmouth Bass, Rainbow Trout (Steelhead), and more are in the cards if you come at the right time of year. On these trips, you can expect to troll and bottom fish using light tackle.
Planning a family adventure? Kids are absolutely welcome! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. Also, remember to bring snacks for a boost of energy when needed!
You'll be dropping lines from a 30' Baha Cruiser sportfishing boat with a capacity for 6 passengers. It comes with downriggers and all the essentials. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. What's more, this vessel is wheelchair accessible. Rods and reels are supplied for you, but be sure to ask about bait and lures as well.
A First Mate will be there to make sure everything is running smoothly. It's customary to tip the Mate 10–20% to show your appreciation.
Before coming aboard, you will need to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.
It's recommended to bring sunglasses, a hat, sunscreen (non-spray), and bottled water. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, so long as you avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

Walt did not make us feel like customers, he made us feel like family. My 12 year old daughter and I had never done trawling before. Walt was extremely patient and knowledgeable, and had us reeling in fish in no time. This was a truly amazing experience, and Walt knew just where to take us to get us on the fish. We did a half-day excursion, and for first-timers, that was perfect. Walt had even decorated the boat just for her, and really put the focus on her enjoyment. When done, he had a recommendation of where (Lorain Brewing Company) we could take our catch and get it cooked up fresh. It was a great recommendation and good food and beer. Thanks again for a truly amazing experience.

we booked a sunday morning halfday trip for my dad, my son and myself. its late in the season for walleye... but Capt. Walt put us on the fish. Hit our limit without issue. Had a great fish fry with the family several hours later. First mate Joe was on point and did an awesome job with cleaning the fish.
Thanks Matthew for a great trip! It was a thrill for Joe and I to show you guys our beautiful Lake Erie!
Book this trip for my wife’s 50th birthday party, unfortunately those that were going to go with us were not able to make it. However, kept the wall had the boat decorated with happy birthday decorations and got us our limit of walleye in about 4 1/2 hours. Had a great time highly recommend.

We had a great time catching walleye on Lake Erie. Captain Walt was actively trying to find the best spots and we landed plenty of fish.
Thanks Jason! it was a pleasure fishing with your crew!!
