Navigo Libertas – Marlin Pula 

We had an amazing experience with Captain Kristijan and would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a great fishing trip. Our original fishing trip with another captain was cancelled the day before because of strong winds and rough sea conditions, so we had to look for a replacement at the last minute. We contacted several other captains, but some were already booked and others didn’t respond. Kristijan replied immediately and offered to take us out for a 4-hour fishing trip. That quick and helpful response already made a great first impression and it only got better throughout the entire trip. Kristijan came well prepared with a great variety of baits and patiently explained how and when to use each one. He was constantly helping all of us, changing baits, explaining different fishing techniques, and telling us about the types of fish we were targeting. You could really see that he knows his stuff and genuinely enjoys sharing his knowledge. He also prepared drinks for us, which was especially appreciated on such a hot day. Everything was relaxed, friendly, and well organized. Unfortunately, we didn’t catch any fish but that was simply because the fish were not biting that day, and obviously that is something no captain can control. Despite that, we left the boat completely satisfied. We met a great person, learned a lot, and spent a fantastic day out on the water. A big thank you to Captain Kristijan for making the trip such a great experience, even on a day when the fish decided not to cooperate. Highly recommended!

Wir waren mit drei Erwachsenen und mit zwei Kindern (12/13) zu Gast bei Kristijan auf dem Boot. Mit Kristijan hatten wir einen super Angelausflug. Kristijan ist ein sehr netter, offener und hilfsbereiter Mensch. Sogar nach dem Angelausflug konnte er uns noch bei privaten Angelegenheiten weiter helfen. Die Bedingungen beim angeln waren etwas schwierig, trotzdem konnten wir etwas Fisch mit nach Hause nehmen. Sogar ein roter Knurrhahn war dabei. Es ist definitiv empfehlenswert. Falls wir mal wieder in der Nähe sein sollten kommen wir auf jede Fall wieder zu Kristijan aufs Boot.

Kristijan did a good Job, briefing us, locating the fish, and especially guiding the inexperienced anglers on how to catch their fish. We did the short trip so obviously catching the big fish was highly unlikely and not expected. But we caught a bunch of smaller fish. By fare enough for dinner. All together we enjoyed our trip with Kristijan a lot, will come back if we get the chance and would definitely recommend it for everyone that wants to dive into the boat fishing experience!

Wir waren an einem heißen Tag Anfang August mit Kristijan auf einer 6-stündigen Angeltour unterwegs. Wir haben mehrere Snapper und auch ein Makrele gefangen. Kristijan ist ein sehr angenehmer und hilfsbereiter Guide und ein klasse Typ. Es hat viel Spaß gemacht. Wir würden es sofort wieder machen.

We booked an evening half-day charter on August 19 with Captain Kristijan, starting at 5:30 PM. Getting to the marina was a quick Uber ride from near the arena in downtown Pula, near the Arena. Kristijan was extraordinarily hospitable, providing us with a variety of beverages and a charcuterie plate that featured sausages he'd made himself--excellent! We explored several spots around the bay, with varying success, catching a small number of fish, mostly Pandoras. The weather was beautiful; while the water had cooled off over the previous week, it was still quite warm, sending the fish relatively deep. We were mostly fishing just off the bottom, in 30 meter-plus water. While we had limited success, we did catch a few fish each and enjoyed the overall experience. Kristijan was a great captain and a most welcoming host.

Honestly couldn’t be happier, the captain and first mate were very friendly and very good overall. Booking process was very easy and the captain was very flexible with timings and pickup/dropoff location. We were also surprised with some great snacks and drinks on board. In terms of fishing, all equipment was arranged for us and we didn’t need to do anything ourselves. Boat was also in lovely condition. 10/10 trip, would strongly recommend and would definitely choose again if we come back in the future. Great for anyone, even for complete beginners. Thanks a lot for a very memorable and enjoyable trip :)

The captain and assistant are very sociable, they told and showed all the intricacies of sea fishing. Often when the hook broke, they tied a new one. It is obvious that they are not going out to sea for the first time to fish. There was also cold beer and drinks. The captain prepared a snack. We did not catch very many fish. But we enjoyed both the fishing itself and the communication with the team. The captain also explained about tuna fishing. I recommend it to everyone.

Kristjan was very nice guy and boat and gear was well prepared, we did not catch much fish, but at least some, enjoyed the trip and did also some snorkeling around shipwreck and a great view of sunset! Bonus was to see tunas chasing prey up close by the boat!

Kris and Marco were awesome and gave us the most memorable fishing experience I have ever had they were knowledgeable and beyond friendly I would highly recommend booking as we plan to rebook again!!!

We were a party of 4 , everything was fine from meeting at the boat to our safe return , Skipper was very helpful plenty of knowledge and all round a very nice man. Thanks Steve.
