On these trips, you can expect to drift and bottom fish using light or heavy tackle. Capt. Michael also offers fly fishing, but you may need to bring your own fly gear.
If you’re traveling with the family, you will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own.
Capt. Michael will bring you aboard a 22’ Pathfinder center console with a capacity for 4 passengers. It comes with all the essentials. Your captain will provide rods and reels, as well as lures. Live bait is available, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you’ll be catching it yourself.
Your fishing license for the day is covered by the charter boat, so all you have to do is show up ready for a good time! Some fish have special regulations, including when you can keep them. Simply ask and your captain can tell you more.
A few items to bring include sunglasses, and sunblock (non-spray). Drinks are included, free of charge. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. There will be some light snacks included on board.
