If you're ready for a day of fun and excitement fishing on Lake Ontario, we've got you covered with Double Z Charters. Your guide for the day is Captain Gregg, which allows you to benefit from 25+ years of sportfishing experience.
These waters are known for Salmon (Coho, Chinook, Atlantic), Rainbow Trout (Steelhead), Lake Trout, Brown Trout. Captain Gregg will hunt them down and provide all the equipment needed to reel them in! He also loves sharing his years of expertise to maximize your catch.
Your fishing machine for the day is a 31' Tiara Open with room for 6 passengers. It comes outfitted with downriggers, electronics, GPS, temperature probe, and everything else you need for a productive day on the water. A First Mate will be there to make sure everything is running smoothly. There's also a private toilet on board for your comfort.
Before coming aboard, you will need to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group ($10/each). These are available through the NYS DEC website.
It's recommended to bring bottled water, sunglasses, sunscreen (non-spray), and plenty of snacks. If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but you should avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. If you are prone to motion sickness, be sure to take your motion sickness medicine as directed, before your trip.

The trip was spectacular start to finish. While other captains in the area were in other water trying to get on fish, we were out there reeling them in. Greg was very easy to talk to and created the perfect environment for us. He answered questions about the gear, the techniques, and showcased his skills. 10 out of 10 recommend!!
We decided at the last minute that we wanted to go on a salmon trip, and we were lucky enough to find Captain Greg at Double Z Charters. We mentioned that we were also interested in trout, and he knew exactly where to find them. We had great action all morning and stayed on a variety of fish the whole trip.
Had a great morning fishing, the salmon were biting a little slow but we pivoted and caught a bunch of great browns. Captain Gregg was great!
Captain Gregg put on a superb trip. Super boat, well equipped. He got us on fish quickly and we limited out on coho and chinook salmon. He was great with my grandson (10 years old) -- helped him when he needed it but let him catch the fish. Would highly recommend this charter to others.
Went trolling for big fish and this charter didn’t disappoint! We hooked up with around 20 fish and landed 5. Boat had plenty of room for the 4 of us and it was just a good time!

You can cancel or modify your booking up to 14 days before the trip date, free of charge. If you cancel or modify your booking later, or fail to show up, you'll forfeit 100% of what you've paid.
