Double Z Charters 

If you're ready for a day of fun and excitement fishing on Lake Ontario, we've got you covered with Double Z Charters. Your guide for the day is Captain Gregg, which allows you to benefit from 25+ years of sportfishing experience.

These waters are known for Salmon (Coho, Chinook, Atlantic), Rainbow Trout (Steelhead), Lake Trout, Brown Trout. Captain Gregg will hunt them down and provide all the equipment needed to reel them in! He also loves sharing his years of expertise to maximize your catch.

Your fishing machine for the day is a 31' Tiara Open with room for 6 passengers. It comes outfitted with downriggers, electronics, GPS, temperature probe, and everything else you need for a productive day on the water. There's also a private toilet on board for your comfort.

A First Mate will be there to make sure everything is running smoothly. Mates work for tips and it's customary to offer them a 10–20% tip.

Before coming aboard, you will need to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group ($10/each). These are available through the NYS DEC website.

It's recommended to bring bottled water, sunglasses, sunscreen (non-spray), and plenty of snacks. If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but you should avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. If you are prone to motion sickness, be sure to take your motion sickness medicine as directed, before your trip.
