Book your next trip with Willpower Offshore Charter Fishing and find out what keeps anglers coming back to Fernandina Beach for more. With Captain Will at the helm, you’ll benefit from years of knowledge and experience.
These waters are known for Blackfin Tuna, Mahi Mahi, Vermilion Snapper, King Mackerel (Kingfish), Red Grouper, Wahoo, Scamp Grouper, Mutton Snapper, Gray Triggerfish, Mangrove Snapper, Lane Snapper, Gag Grouper, and more – with any luck, you’ll find out for yourself! On these trips, it’s common to troll and bottom fish using heavy tackle.
You’ll be dropping lines from a 35’ SeaHunter center console with a capacity for 6 passengers. It has outriggers, downriggers, and all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. There’s a toilet on board for your convenience. You’ll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, along with lures. Live bait is on offer, but you should ask the captain whether you’ll be catching it yourself.
A First Mate will be there to make sure everything is running smoothly. It’s customary to tip the Mate 10–20% to show your appreciation.
The charter boat covers your fishing license, so you can drive right over and come aboard without any hassle! Keep in mind that you may release some fish due to regulations. If you don’t know what to expect, ask the captain.
A few items to bring include sunscreen (non-spray), bottled water, and sunglasses. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but you should avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
Go ahead and treat yourself to a day on the water with Willpower Offshore Charter Fishing.
