Book your next trip with FishNorthMN and find out what the fishing in Duluth is all about. Your guide for the day is Captain Jordan, which allows you to benefit from years of sportfishing experience.
These waters are known for Lake Trout, Chinook Salmon, Coho Salmon, Walleye, Brown Trout, Muskellunge (Musky), and more – with any luck, you’ll have tight lines in no time. Depending on the species you’re after, you may find yourself light tackle fishing, trolling, jigging, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
Children are welcome, so the whole family can come and unplug for the day! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. Snacks are permitted onboard — bring your favorites for a boost of energy when needed!
Capt. Jordan will bring you aboard a 35’ Tiara Motor yacht with a capacity for 6 passengers. It comes with downriggers and all the essentials. There’s a toilet on board for your convenience. What’s more, this vessel is wheelchair accessible. Your captain will provide rods and reels, along with lures.
Before coming aboard, you will need to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.
Don’t leave home without sunscreen (non-spray), and sunglasses. Drinks are included, free of charge. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but try to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
Now and then the fish might get away, but a day on the water never should. So make it happen, with FishNorthMN!
