Species like Amberjack, Great Barracuda, Mahi Mahi, Black Grouper, King Mackerel (Kingfish), Blue Marlin, White Marlin, Caribbean Queen Snapper, Wahoo, Yellowfin Tuna, Sailfish, Swordfish, and more can be found in these waters, depending on when you go. Depending on the fish you’re after, you may find yourself spinning, popping, trolling, drifting, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.

Simply Caught Charters welcomes kids aboard, so the whole family can come and unplug for the day! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. Feel free to bring your own snacks to ward off any mid-trip fatigue!

Capt. Frank will bring you aboard a 26 foot Regulator center console with a capacity for 6 passengers. It has outriggers, downriggers, and all the essentials. Rods, reels, and tackle are covered by the charter, along with lures. Live bait is available, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you’ll be catching it yourself.

The charter boat covers your fishing license, so you can drive right over and come aboard without any hassle! Keep in mind that you may release some fish due to regulations. If you don’t know what to expect, ask the captain.

It’s always wise to bring sunscreen (non-spray), and sunglasses. There will be some drinks on offer, but let the captain know if you wish to bring your own. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but you should avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. There will be some light snacks for you on board.
