You can expect to do some light tackle fishing, trolling, jigging, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
Trips with Diehard Angling are fun for all ages, so get ‘em offline and onto the water! Customers are encouraged to bring snacks so that everyone stays happy and energized!
Your day begins aboard a 2023 21ft yarcraft tfx that holds up to 5 passengers. It comes with all the essentials. There’s a bucket on board for your bathroom convenience. Capt. Alec will supply rods and reels for you, as well as lures. Live bait is available, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you’ll be catching it yourself.
You will need to buy a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.
Don’t forget to bring sunglasses, sunblock (non-spray), bottled water, and a hat. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but you should avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

Small mouth heaven
Although mother nature was not our friend we still went out and caught some really nice small mouth. Would have loved to catch some salmon but our guide errorded on the side of caution, which was really the best idea based on conditions. A load of fun though and the guide knew right where the fish were.

Great New Boat and Guide!!
Alec was a great guide. We would highly recommend him. Great energy and a beautiful new boat with all the latest gear. The weather conditions were less than ideal with high winds out of the north, but he did a great job of adjusting for the weather and changing the techniques and locations. Highlight of the trip was a 29" walleye that my son caught.

Very accommodating, wonderful communication, extremely knowledgeable!! Alec even gave his coat to one of my boys on the trip as it was very chilly the morning we went. Went above and beyond!!!!
