If you’re going to cast a line in Dahaban, look no further than Jeddah Red Sea Fishing.
Depending on the season, you might hook into Hamour Grouper, Sailfish, Longtail Tuna, Bohar Snapper, Swordfish, Dogtooth Tuna, Bigeye Trevally, Blacktip Trevally, King Mackerel (Kingfish), Bluefin Trevally, Great Barracuda, and anything else that bites. You can expect to do some spinning, popping, trolling, drifting, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
Looking to get the whole family outdoors? Kids are absolutely welcome! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. Don’t forget to bring snacks – luckily, Capt. Mohammed will have some on board!
You’ll find yourself aboard a 42’ motor yacht with a capacity for 12 passengers. It comes with outriggers and all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. There’s a toilet on board for your convenience. Rods and reels are not covered by the charter, so ask the captain about bringing your own or renting some for an extra cost. Be sure to ask about bait and lures as well.
You’ll have the help of a First Mate to put you on fish. A 10–20% tip is customary to show your appreciation for their hard work.
Before coming aboard, you’ll need to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect.
Don’t forget to bring sunglasses, sunscreen (non-spray), and a hat. Drinks are included, free of charge. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but try to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. There will be some light snacks for you on board.
Now’s the time to experience fishing in Dahaban for yourself, with Jeddah Red Sea Fishing!
