Thinking of bringing the whole family? Kids are absolutely welcome!
Your trip begins aboard a 35’ Bertram with space for 6 passengers. It comes with outriggers, downriggers, and everything else you need for a productive day on the water. There’s a toilet on board for your convenience.
Capt. Fox will supply rods, reels, and bait for you.
Trips are run with the help of a First Mate. A 20% tip is customary to show your appreciation for their hard work.
Don’t leave home without sunglasses, sunblock (non-spray), and bottled water or other beverages. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, please bring cans. No glass bottles.

Fox and AJ provided a great experience. It was me and my 16 year old son for a Father’s Day outing. We started out trolling but the fishing wasn’t too hot so Fox suggested we change things up and go fish the reef. When we got to the reef we couldn’t keep the fish off of our hooks. They cleaned and fileted out our fish for us and overall it couldn’t have been a better experience. Highly recommend this charter.

Fantastic Trip!

Our family of four had a great time. We have two boys, ages 10 and 8. They were catching fish almost right away, and caught fish the whole trip long. Which kept them engaged and having fun! Capt Fox and AJ are very professional, and made sure we all felt welcome, safe, and comfortable. I will definitely book with them again and would give them my highest recommendation.

HI, Capt Fox, Sunny " Wife" and AJ "Boat Mate" took great care of US. Me my Wife, 15 and 17 YO boys had a great time with The PM Reef trip. We caught lots of Different Species. The Cpt and crew gave Pointers, knowledge and Cleaned our fish for Fish Taco night. Great experience all around. We trolled for Spanish on the way to the different reefs we fished.

Fox and AJ were awesome! They put us on the fish and we reeled something in nearly every cast! My youngest kept track of his fish (50+) and there were four of us. We easily put close to 200 fish in the boat. Fox and AJ were easy going and made this trip a memorable one! Would highly recommend!

Captain Fox Johnson was born and raised fishing in North Carolina. In addition to holding a 100-ton Master USCG Captain's license, Captain Fox earned a degree in Applied Science-Diesel and Heavy Equipment Technology from Cape Fear Community College. He is also an ABYC marine electrical certified technician. Fox began his career working in various boat yards and marinas around the Wilmington area and later worked as a charter boat mate fishing out of Carolina Beach. Fox's passion for fishing and knowledge of all things marine technology will ensure you're safe and ready to have the trip of a lifetime reeling in the fish and fun!

When the captain confirms your trip, FishingBooker charges your credit card a 15% deposit to guarantee your reservation.
The remaining balance is to be paid directly to the charter operator on or prior to your trip date in one of the following payment methods:
