Capt. Kyle runs a 33’ Bounty Marine sportfishing vessel with space for 6 passengers. It comes with downriggers and all the essentials. There’s a toilet on board for your convenience. Capt. Kyle will supply rods and reels for you.
You will need to purchase a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off-limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect.
Some essentials to bring are sunglasses, and sunblock (non-spray). Drinks will be available for you. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just be sure to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

Awesome trip and great captain
4 Hour Trip – Cruise Ship (AM) on July 25, 2024
Kyle was great - very communicative ahead of the trip, made sure we knew how to get to and from the marina from the cruise ship. We were fishing within 10 or 15 minutes from the dock, and had our first salmon on 5 or 10 minutes after that. We kept the first 12 and released at least that many after. The boat was really nice and well maintained, captain was fantastic. Very personable, patient, and friendly. We had a blast. He also has processing/shipping dialed - sending our catch back home was very easy. We would recommend Kyle 1,000%.

We booked a half day fishing tour with Kyle, and we had a blast! Kyle was very knowledgeable about all types of fish, what was edible and what wasn’t. He also had a great eye for bites on the rods, and his tips helped to keep our fish hooked till it got to the surface. I highly recommend fishing both in Ketchikan, and with Kyle.
