This drift boat is primarily used for guided Winter Steelhead fishing on the Umpqua River system in Oregon.

Brockmans Guide Service specializes in seasonal river trips targeting Winter Steelhead, with additional opportunities for Salmon, Smallmouth Bass, Trout, and Shad depending on conditions.

Kyle fishes the North Umpqua, South Umpqua, and Main Umpqua Rivers, as well as nearby systems like the Coquille, Elk, and Sixes, adjusting each trip based on river flows, clarity, and seasonal runs to give anglers the best possible experience.

Target species by season:

Winter Steelhead: December – April
Spring Chinook Salmon: April – June
Shad: May – June
Smallmouth Bass Umpqua Rivers: May – August
Fall Chinook Salmon: August – November

Trips are run from a 16’ Willie drift boat with space for 2 anglers, ideal for focused, technical river fishing. All rods, reels, and tackle are provided.

Family-friendly trips are welcome. Children must wear a life vest; if bringing a small child, please provide a properly fitted life jacket.
