You’ll target your catch by light tackle fishing, drifting, or maybe something more specialized in this area.

Capt. R.J. operates a 21’ Flats boat that holds up to 4 passengers. It has everything you need for a productive day on the water. You’ll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, as well as lures.

You will need to get a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off-limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect.

Don’t forget to bring a hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen (non-spray). There will be some drinks on offer, but let the captain know if you wish to bring your own. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but try to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. There will be some light snacks provided on board.
