Mutton Snapper, King Mackerel (Kingfish), Javelin Grunter, Red Snapper, Snowy Grouper, Queenfish, Jack Crevalle, Red Grouper, Hamour Grouper, Coral Trout, Great Barracuda, Amberjack, and more are in the cards, depending on the season.

Depending on the species you’re after, you may find yourself spinning, trolling, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.

Planning a family adventure? Kids are absolutely welcome! If you don’t have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there’s one on board. Feel free to bring your own snacks to ward off any mid-trip fatigue!

Capt. Abubakar operates a 33’ Sportfishing with room for 9 passengers. It comes with and all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. There’s a toilet on board for your convenience. What’s more, this vessel is wheelchair accessible.

Rods, reels, and tackle are provided. Live bait is on offer, but it’s good to ask about this so you know if you’ll be catching it yourself.

A First Mate will be there to make sure everything is running smoothly. Mates work hard to make your trip count, so a 10–20% tip is customary.

Before coming aboard, it may be necessary to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.

Don’t forget to bring sunblock (non-spray), bottled water, and sunglasses. Drinks will be available for you. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, so long as you avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
