You'll be welcome aboard a 2026 Vexus 1985S powered by a Mercury 200 ProXS. You'll be comfortable with 4 guests, plus your guide on this vessel. Unlike most bass boats which has only 1 seat for a guest and the others sit on the front deck of the boat which is extremely dangerous, this boat has comfortable jumpseats that fold up/down for a smooth and safe ride. It comes with all the essentials no other fishing machine can run without.
With your Captain, Kyle Farwell at the helm, you're in knowledgeable and experienced hands. You want to learn, he loves to teach! Whether you are able to get on the water or fish from the bank, you can implement what is being taught and apply it!
Around here the fishing is popular for Crappie, Largemouth Bass, White Perch, Catfish, and more. We have the option to fish Jordan Lake, Shearon Harris or Lake Wheeler.
Kids are absolutely welcome! Life jackets (PFDs) are provided. Don't forget to bring snacks and drinks (non-alcoholic due to liability/insurance purposes) for a boost of energy when needed!
Rods, reels and all tackle is provided! Live bait is available and will also be provided if necessary.
You may need to buy a local fishing license before the trip if you do not currently have an active NC freshwater fishing license. This information is available online, or you can ask your captain/guide for information on how to obtain a valid fishing license for NC.
You can't go wrong when you bring sunglasses, bottled water, and sunscreen.

I’ve been stalking Kyle with Farwell fishing for a few months. What a mistake! It should have never taken me so long to book a trip with him! Not only did he get us on the fish but we also filled our cooler!! Kyle is extremely professional and an absolute great person to spend time on the water with! I’ve done many charters but I’ve never felt like I was fishing with a friend. From the moment we stepped on his boat it felt like we’d been friends for life. He is extremely knowledgeable and he isn’t afraid to teach and share his knowledge. I couldn’t have asked for a better charter experience! If all you want is a cooler of fish Farwell fishing is who you want. If you want to learn from the best Farwell Fishing is the only choice!

Took my grandsons and son in law fishing to celebrate the 13th birthday of my youngest grandson. Captain Kyle was the best. We caught crappie, catfish, blue gill, and bass. A bald eagle flew over our boat as we fished and an osprey swooped down took a fish in front of us. A lifetime memory was created. Thanks you, Captain Kyle.

We had an awesome time with Captain Kyle. He was super knowledgeable about fishing and the entire area. It was a beautiful sunny day. We caught at least 30+ crappies and white bass. Everything was provided and well stocked. Highly recommend booking Captain Kyle.

Amazing Guide delivers an Amazing Crappie fishing experience at Jordan Lake, NC with my son. We booked a 6 hour trip starting at 6am, and caught two trophy sized Crappie along with over 30 others. Kyle really knows his electronics to find fish fast. We caught so many big fish that were were tossing back 12" fish! I've fished many different fishing charters over the years and Kyle is awesome! Will be booking again soon!

You can cancel or modify your booking up to 1 day before the trip date, free of charge. If you cancel or modify your booking later, or fail to show up, you'll forfeit 100% of what you've paid.
