Make some memories in Galveston and go fishing with Sea Adventures. Captain Manny will be your guide, offering their angling experience.
You're likely to fish for Cero Mackerel, Flounder, Redfish, Speckled Trout, Mahi Mahi, Spanish Mackerel, Red Snapper, Wahoo, Amberjack, Cobia, Blackfin Tuna, Black Drum, and more. On these trips, it’s common to troll and bottom fish using light or heavy tackle.
Families making a day of it will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. Snacks are also a good idea to stay fueled throughout your trip!
Capt. Manny will bring you aboard a 33' Pro-Line Express Cruiser with space for 6 passengers. It has outriggers, and all the essentials. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. What's more, this vessel is wheelchair accessible. You'll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, along with lures. Live bait is available, but you should ask the captain whether you'll be catching it yourself.
A First Mate will be there to make sure everything is running smoothly. It's customary to tip the Mate 10–20% to show your appreciation.
Before coming aboard, it will be necessary to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect.
Don't leave home without sunglasses, sunblock (non-spray), and bottled water. If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but you should avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
You could keep reading this, but wouldn't you rather be fishing with Sea Adventures?
