Here you’ll have access to backcountry waters, including some honeyholes that only a local guide can show you.
Highland Anglers specializes in fly fishing, which is how you’ll get acquainted with these waters. You can also do a bit of and maybe more your guide wants to show you. You may need to bring your own gear for this trip or rent some for an extra fee. Contact Highland Anglers ahead of time so you know what to expect and come prepared.

Any fish you catch will be released. You’re welcome to bring a group as large as 4 on this guided experience. You’ll be fishing without a boat, so expect to make your way on foot at least part of the time and come dressed for current weather conditions.

A local fishing license is provided for you and Highland Anglers will help you follow local regulations. Layered clothing and appropriate footwear are always encouraged (if you aren’t sure what that means, just ask). It’s never a bad idea to bring bottled water, sunblock, and sunglasses in any weather conditions.
