Josh our tour guide was fantastic and worked really hard to help make the experience fantastic, he was very friendly and knowledgeable about the area as well as great to talk to on a range of topics, Josh was also fantastic with my two sons (17 & 11), unfortunately the fish weren't on the bite which was nothing to do with Josh or his willingness to try to catch a fish for us. When I first booked the experience we were keen to try to catch some GT's off the reef, weather conditions didn't suit the reef fishing so with queen fish biting in the Daintree we were recommended this would be a good option. We landed two queen fish which proved to be a highlight. The fishing charter was advertised as 8am to 5pm however we spent approximately 3 hours of the charter travelling to and from the fishing destination. It was advertised in the fishing booking that the tour guide could pick you up or meet at marina, we did spend an additional $60 in Uber rides to meet the tour operator so I guess there were a couple of areas that were a bit of a surprise to me with additional cost and reduced time spent fishing.

Communication from Brodie excellent from the start, we went into the river for Barra and crabs as too rough outside. Josh fantastic captain, taught the boys how to cast in close and what to look for. Cannot recommend more highly for personalised service and day trip if you are up in this beautiful part of the world. 5 stars

One of the best fishing charters I've done. Due to the bad weather out on the reef, we decided to do some Barra fishing. Was a hard slog but we finally got on to big girls. Will definitely be booking with the boys next time I fly over

Fishing was slow early on but Brodie was a great bloke and new what he was doing and worked his butt off to find the fish we were after. Once we found the mackies We had plenty of hook ups but lost them due to our own inexperience however we landed 1 Mack and 2 good size sharks and still had a great day learning new fishing techniques Thanks again Brodie

Josh worked non stop to get me the best opportunities to hit big fish, even with poor conditions we were able land a big barra
