Spend the day with Charlotte Harbor Angling Adventures and see what’s biting in Punta Gorda! Having logged many hours on these tides, Captain Conrad knows them forwards and back.
You’re likely to fish for Snook, Redfish, Spotted Seatrout, Tarpon, Mangrove Snapper, Cobia, Spanish Mackerel, and more if conditions allow. For these species, you’re likely to use spinning tackle both light or heavy depending on what the targeted species is. Capt. Conrad also offers fly fishing, but you may need to bring your own fly gear.
Charlotte Harbor Angling Adventures is a child-friendly charter service, so the whole family can come and unplug for the day! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. And, you can’t go wrong with snacks to keep up those energy levels!
You’ll be fishing aboard a 20’ Bay boat with room for 4 passengers. It has everything you need for a productive day on the water. Rods, reels, and tackle are ready for you, as well as a live well full of bait necessary for the day of fishing.
There’s no need to buy a fishing license, so all you have to do is show up ready for a good time! Be mindful that some species may have special rules or limited seasons. Your captain will help you follow regulations while you fish.
Don’t forget to bring sunglasses, sunblock (non-spray), bottled water, and a hat. There will be some drinks on offer, but let the captain know if you wish to bring your own. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, so long as you avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

Half Day Trip – Inshore fishing
Snookapalooza 2025 – Catch and Release Edition!
Went out with Captain Conrad and had an absolute blast—if catching more snook than a Florida Fish and Wildlife brochure counts for anything. Unfortunately, snook weren’t in season, which we definitely knew before we high-fived over number twenty. We didn’t bring anything home except great memories, sore arms, and one friend who now believes snook are mythical creatures that vanish the second you want to eat one. But credit where it’s due: Captain Conrad put us on fish faster than you can say “Can I keep this one?” (Answer: still no.) He knew all the spots, had the gear ready, and somehow kept a straight face while we debated if a snook could be disguised as a legal snapper. Spoiler: it can’t. If you’re looking for a day full of tight lines, good laughs, and fish you can’t eat, this is your guy. 10/10 would catch-and-release again.

Stop looking for a captain! Conrad is the one you want to go with!
Conrad took my wife and I last minute on the last day of our honeymoon after getting screwed over by another captain and I’m so glad it worked out like that. Conrad took us to many different spots and whenever he felt like the bite wasn’t going to be good we packed up and got to the next spot quick! It was our first time fishing on a boat and my wife’s first time fishing in Florida. We could not have asked for a better experience! We ended up catching every target species and a couple more we were even going after, but still amazing fish!!

Great trip
I recently went on a boat trip, and it was absolutely fantastic! The entire experience was smooth and enjoyable from start to finish. The boat itself was well-maintained, and the journey offered stunning views that made it truly unforgettable. What really stood out was how friendly and accommodating our guide was. He made everyone feel welcome, was knowledgeable about the area, and went out of his way to ensure we all had a great time. His cheerful attitude and professionalism added a personal touch to the trip. I would highly recommend this boat trip to anyone looking for a relaxing and fun experience. Captain Conrad was greta. We caught around 100 fish during our six hour trip. So if catching fish is your thing we highly recommend. One of us was an experienced fisherman, and the other was new to the sport. Both of us had a great time.
