Depending on conditions, you might hook into Wahoo, King Mackerel (Kingfish), Cobia, White Marlin, Blue Marlin, Gag Grouper, Sailfish, Bull Shark, Red Snapper, Blackfin Tuna, Yellowfin Tuna, Dolphin (Mahi Mahi), and whatever else is biting.

During the trip you might be spinning, trolling, drifting, jigging, or maybe something more specialized in this area. Capt. Mike can also have you kite fishing.

Families making of a day of it will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. Snacks are never a bad idea to keep up those energy levels!

Your day begins aboard a luxurious first class 50’ Convertible that can carry up to 6 passengers. It has outriggers, and everything else you need for a productive day on the water. There’s a toilet on board for your convenience.

You’ll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, along with lures. Live bait is available, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you’ll be catching it yourself.

Trips are run with the help of a First Mate. Mates work hard to make your trip count, so a 10–20% tip is customary.

There’s no need to buy a fishing license, just show up ready for a good time! Some fish have special regulations, including when you can keep them. If you don’t know what to expect, ask the captain.

Don’t leave home without sunscreen (non-spray), bottled water, and sunglasses. Drinks will be available for you. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just be sure to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
