Book your next trip with True North Outdoors and find out what the fishing at the infamous Buoy 10 or
Ocean is all about. Having logged many hours on these tides, Captain Hugh can tell you all about them.
Coho Salmon, Chinook Salmon, and more could be biting, depending on the season. On these trips, it’s common to spin using light or heavy tackle.
You'll be casting lines from a 26' River Wild aluminum fishing boat that can carry up to 6 passengers. It has all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. Rods and reels are supplied for you. Be sure to ask about bait and lures as well.
You will need to get a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.
It's never a bad idea to bring bottled water, sunblock (non-spray), and sunglasses. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but you should avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
