At Burning River Anglers, our mission is to provide unparalleled fishing experiences by showcasing the region’s unique and diverse fisheries. We aim to inspire both seasoned anglers and newcomers alike through expert guidance, quality equipment, and a deep respect for the fish we pursue.

Our goal is to foster a community of passionate anglers who appreciate the beauty and excitement of our local Ohio waters, while promoting conservation and sustainable fishing practices for the next generation of fly fishers.

Great Lakes Steelhead, Smallmouth Bass, Carp, Brown Trout, Rainbow Trout and more inhabit these waters, depending on the season. Fishing on these trips is limited to catch and release.

Capt. Bill runs a 12’ FlyCraft drift boat with space for 2 passengers. It has everything you need for a productive day on the water. Rods, reels, and tackle are provided, along with flies.

You will need to purchase a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.

Some essentials to bring are a hat, sunglasses, and sunblock (non-spray). Drinks are included, free of charge. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. There will be some light snacks included on board, as well as lunch for an additional fee.
