Make the most of your time in Orange Beach and go fishing with Class Act Charters. With Captain Dale Woodruff at the helm, you’ll have a knowledgeable and experienced guide.
The fish in these waters include Amberjack, Vermilion Snapper, Lane Snapper, Scamp Grouper, Spanish Mackerel, Almaco Jack, Bonito, King Mackerel (Kingfish), Red Grouper, Red Snapper, Gag Grouper, and more if you come at the right time of year. During the trip you might be spinning, trolling, drifting, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area. Capt. Dale can also help you try kite fishing.
Planning a family adventure? Kids are absolutely welcome! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. Customers are encouraged to bring snacks!
Capt. Dale will bring you aboard the Class Act, a 52’ Miller sportfishing vessel with space for 15 passengers. It has outriggers, and all the essentials. Air conditioned cabin, clean restroom, satellite radio, satellite tv for the Golf/Ball game, Green Egg grill for grilling. The charter provides everything for the grill, just bring the food. Your captain will provide rods and reels, along with lures. Live bait is available, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you’ll be catching it yourself. Fish cleaning is free for the 4, 5 and 6-hour trips.
There will be a First Mate on board to help your trip run smoothly. Mates work hard to make your trip count, so a 18–20% tip is customary.
There’s no need to buy a fishing license, just show up ready for some fishing! Keep in mind that you may release some fish due to regulations. If you don’t know what to expect, ask the captain. Don’t leave home without sunscreen (non-spray), bottled water, and sunglasses. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
