These waters are known for Smallmouth Bass, Walleye, Northern Pike, and more – with any luck, you’ll find out for yourself! On these trips, it’s common to troll and bottom fish using light or heavy tackle.

Planning a family adventure? Kids are absolutely welcome! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. Snacks are permitted onboard — bring your favorites to maintain your energy throughout the trip!

You’ll be dropping lines from a 17’ Alumacraft aluminum fishing boat that can carry up to 2 passengers. It comes with all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. Rods, reels, and tackle are provided, as well as lures. Live bait is available, but you should ask the captain whether you’ll be catching it yourself.

Before coming aboard, you will be required to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.

You can’t go wrong when you bring sunglasses, sunblock (non-spray), and bottled water. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but you should avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
