Violi Fishing
Make an adventure out of your next trip in Rovinj and go fishing with Violi Fishing. Your guide for the day is Captain Matej, bringing aboard years of professional experience.
Species like Amberjack, Needlefish, Gurnard, Dentex, Bonito, Scorpionfish, European Seabass, Squid, Bigeye Tuna, Bluefin Tuna, Gilt-head (Seabream), and more inhabit these waters, depending on conditions. On these trips, you can expect to troll and bottom fish using light or heavy tackle. For the more adventurous among you, there’s spearfishing.
Families who love fishing together will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. Don’t forget to bring snacks to ward off any mid-trip fatigue!
Your boat for the day is a 20’ Beneteau Antares 600 HB sportfishing vessel with room for 4 passengers. It comes with all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. There’s a toilet on board for your convenience. Rods, reels, and tackle are provided, as well as lures. Live bait is available, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you’ll be catching it yourself.
There’s no need to buy a fishing license, so you can drive right over and come aboard without any hassle! Some fish have special regulations, including when you can keep them. If you don’t know what to expect, ask the captain.
It’s always wise to bring sunglasses, and sunscreen (non-spray). Drinks will be available for you. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just be sure to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. There will be some light snacks provided on board.

sehr guter Kapitän
Matej ist ein sehr guter Kapitän. Wir haben verschiedene Angelmethoden ausprobiert, wobei er immer mit Ratschlägen zur Seite stand. Unsere Zielfische haben wir leider nicht alle fangen können. Aber wir wissen ja, nicht jeder Tag ist auch ein Fangtag. Trotzdem hat uns der Ausflug sehr gefallen und würden Matej auch gern weiterempfehlen.

Fantastic fishing experience!!
Had a fantastic evening with the Matej. We caught some bluefish on the surface with topwater spinning and poppers. Matej is very experienced and knows where the fish are. He tells you exactly which fish to expect and explains the correct technique. He makes it a fun day with sandwiches and drinks. I can recommend him to everyone.

This is worth it!
Great fishing trip with chill vibes. The captain is a chill dude with a lots of experience when it's comes to fishing on the see. Will do everything in his power to see you catch the best fish! We Even spend some more time on the water then provided. Highly recommended. We catchd some fish and lost some big won' s because whe didn't have the experience to quickly reel in the fish.

3 Hour Trip – Evening Spinning
Had a blast for my Birthday!
I really wanted to go deep-sea fishing for my birthday and I was able to book Captain Matej Skert . He was amazing and really knowledgeable about the area and fishing in general. He actually brought me a cupcake for my birthday, which is really appreciated since I spent my birthday alone. Unfortunately, we didn’t catch any fish besides a fish for bait, which is understandable since catching fish isn’t guaranteed but he gave me every opportunity and stayed out longer, so I can catch something. I told him I would come back in the winter with my dad since I enjoyed my adventure fishing with him.
