Make an adventure out of your next trip in Rovinj and go fishing with Violi Fishing. Your guide for the day is Captain Matej, bringing aboard years of professional experience.

Species like Amberjack, Needlefish, Gurnard, Dentex, Bonito, Scorpionfish, European Seabass, Squid, Bigeye Tuna, Bluefin Tuna, Gilt-head (Seabream), and more inhabit these waters, depending on conditions. On these trips, you can expect to troll and bottom fish using light or heavy tackle. For the more adventurous among you, there’s spearfishing.

Families who love fishing together will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. Don’t forget to bring snacks to ward off any mid-trip fatigue!

Your boat for the day is a 20’ Beneteau Antares 600 HB sportfishing vessel with room for 4 passengers. It comes with all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. There’s a toilet on board for your convenience. Rods, reels, and tackle are provided, as well as lures. Live bait is available, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you’ll be catching it yourself.

There’s no need to buy a fishing license, so you can drive right over and come aboard without any hassle! Some fish have special regulations, including when you can keep them. If you don’t know what to expect, ask the captain.

It’s always wise to bring sunglasses, and sunscreen (non-spray). Drinks will be available for you. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just be sure to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. There will be some light snacks provided on board.
