Sea Farmer Charters is all about fishing the stunning waters of Barnegat Light. Your guide for the day is Captain Mike, so you’ll benefit from years of angling experience.

Bluefish, Tautog, Flounder, Scup (Porgy), Weakfish, Striped Bass, Bluefin Tuna, Yellowfin Tuna, Golden Tilefish and more are in the cards if you come at the right time of year. During the trip you might be spinning, popping, jigging, or maybe something more specialized in this area.

Your boat for the day is a 32’ SeaVee center console with room for 4 passengers. It comes with all the essentials. Rods, reels, and tackle are provided, as well as lures. Live bait is available, but you should ask the captain whether you’ll be catching it yourself.

Before coming aboard, it will be necessary to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.

Expert Guide, Great Boat, Amazing Experience!

We had an awesome time out on the water with Capt. Mike, he put us right on the fish. His experience was clear as he had us using different techniques to target different species, keeping the trip exciting and hands on. The boat was clean, well equipped, and perfect for a comfortable day of fishing. I Highly recommend him for anyone looking to fish with a knowledgeable and professional captain!

Phenomenal Trip

4 Hour Trip – Inshore (AM) on August 31, 2025 • 4 adults

Captain Mike took us out to where the fish resided! We caught plenty of fluke, sea bass, and trigger fish! We will be eating well tonight! Beautiful boat and Mike was great ensuring we always had lures and bait. Cleaned our haul when we returned and provided some excellent suggestions for cooking! Highly recommend.

Great Boat, Great Captain and Great Fishing

If you are looking for a fun day on the water Capt. Mike is your man. He works hard to find the fish and we were catching consistently all day. My wife, daughter and I took home a few meals worth of fish. Even if the fish weren't cooperating we would have had a great day on the water. The boat is pristine and the gear is top shelf!
