Spend the day with Anglers Adventures Guide Service and get hooked on fishing in Branson on Lake Taneycomo! With Captain Jeff at the helm, you’re in knowledgeable and experienced hands.
Rainbow Trout (Steelhead), Brown Trout, and more are in the cards if you cast your line at the right time of year. Depending on the fish you’re after, you may find yourself light tackle fishing, drifting, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
Families who love fishing together will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. Customers are encouraged to bring snacks for a boost of energy when needed!
You’ll be welcome aboard a 20’ Phoenix bass boat with room for 5 passengers. It comes with everything you need for a productive day on the water. Your captain will provide rods and reels, as well as lures. Live bait is on offer, but you should ask the captain whether you’ll be catching it yourself.
Bringing sunscreen (non-spray), a hat, and sunglasses is never a bad idea. There will be bottled water and ice on board, but let the captain know if you wish to bring your own. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but you should avoid hard liquor and glass bottles.

3 Hour Midday Trip
Captain Jeff is a great guide and person!
We had a great day catching Trout! Our 9 year old daughter started us off, catching a trout on her first cast! We fished for in a few different spots, catching in every spot we went to! We love to fish! Don't get to do it often! So, we jumped on the opportunity when we booked our vacation! It was a windy day. So, our Captain maneuvered the boat to benefit us. He has some great technology to find the fish! He also went out early, before our arrival to find the honey holes! He is personable. We enjoyed his company. Our daughter tangled her line ALOT. He fixed her up, and would cast for her, while my husband and I fished! Captain Jeff is really a good guy. You know, one of those people you meet, and you think , I just met someone awesome! Out of 100 visits, we would fish 100 times with him! He will get you in the fish! He even offered to fish with us longer, for free, if we didn't catch our limit! Absolutely a fabulous day fishing with this guy!

We had a blast. Jeff is a great fish guide. We caught all our fish and had so much fun. Jeff was very down to earth and was able to have a conversation like you have known each other forever. Took the 11 year old boy out for some morning trout fishing trip. We got out on the fish, caught our limit, and took home dinner! Jeff was awesome and the boat/equipment was perfect. We will definitely be using him anytime we decide to head out on the water.

Captian Jeff wants to make sure you have a good time. he didnt clock watch. he moved spot to spot if the fish are not baiting. the boat setup and fishing gear are good for the type of fishing in the area. my son was able to catch a good size small mouth bass

Great guide!
Jeff is awesome. We caught our limit of trout in about 2 hours. He is very personable, knowledgeable about all aspects of fishing and an all around pleasure to spend a morning or afternoon of fishing with. We will definitely be using him as a guide again and highly recommend him!
