Depending on conditions, you might hook into Yellow Perch, Walleye, Lake Trout, and plenty more. Depending on the species you’re after, you may find yourself light tackle fishing, trolling, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
Trips with One Mohr Fishing Charters are fun for all ages, so get ‘em offline and onto the water! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. Snacks are never a bad idea for a boost of energy when needed!
Your boat for the day is a 25’ Hewescraft pilothouse with capacity for 5 passengers. It comes with downriggers, all the essentials. There’s a toilet on board for your convenience. Rods, reels, and tackle are provided, along with lures. Live bait is included, but you should ask the captain whether you’ll be catching it yourself.
Before coming aboard, it will be required to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.
Don’t leave home without bottled water, sunblock (non-spray), and sunglasses. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but try to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

Walleye Bonanza
First time fishing with my son and two grandchildren Captain Mark got us on the fish so fast he didn’t have a chance to get all the poles in the water. We limited out well before the four hours with very nice walleyes. I would recommend this trip to anybody.

Great Time!!
Did a last minute decision while working in area and did we have a great experience! Mark was well educated on the fish in the area, was quite well setup with his equipment, and got us to limit on walleye with great sizes! I have nothing to say badly about Mark or his boat, equipment, or guidance. Will do what I can to come back! Even tho it is an 8 hour drive.

Lots of big fish
For my son‘s 14th birthday, he wanted to go out on a fishing charter. Captain Mark did not disappoint. He was very knowledgeable both about the location of fish and the equipment to use.
