Make that daydream about fishing in Miramar Beach a reality, with AMax Shark Outfitters!
Enjoy a nice trip fishing sharks from land! Just bring some snacks, drinks and they’ll deliver baits 300-700 yards from the beach with the SwellPro drone or a kayak and all you’ll have to do is reel them in!
Depending on conditions, you might hook into Blacktip Shark, Lemon Shark, Nurse Shark, Thresher Shark, Bull Shark, Hammerhead Shark, Mako Shark, Tiger Shark, and who knows what else!
Fernando can take groups as large as 20 on this guided experience. You’ll make your way to the fishing grounds on foot, so be sure to dress for current weather conditions and bring only as much as you can carry.
Don’t hesitate to send Fernando a message below with any questions you have, including where to meet on the day of your trip.
You’re encouraged to dress in layers and the proper footwear (if you aren’t sure what that means, just ask). It’s never a bad idea to bring sunglasses, bottled water, and sunblock, no matter the weather. Children are welcome to come along.

6 Hour Trip – Shark Adventure on August 30, 2025 • 13 adults
Me and my buddies had a goal in mind. To catch sharks. My own personal goal was to take a better photo with a shark than one from the boat. Fernando and Ivan were able to make that happen. Within 10 minutes of dropping the bait, we hooked into a bull shark and was able to bring it in! Even though this is a late night to early morning trip, Fernando and Ivan were good conpany and easy to trade stories with. I'm glad they were able to deliver and achieve my own goal as well as my friends!

Highlight of Our Vacation!

The guides were professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about what they do. Their setup was top notch and runs smoothly.
We ended up landing two bull sharks, which was absolutely incredible! They walked us through everything and made sure the experience was safe and exciting from start to finish.

Middle School Spring Break

Fernando and mate were excellent. We had a large group, and we were well taking care of. We caught a nice Sandbar Shark, and everyone was able to reel it in, and get plenty of pictures. Definitely recommend for large groups, where not everyone wants to be on a boat.

Shark Fishing 1 Highlight of my vacation
4 Hour Trip – Shark Adventure on July 27, 2024 • 2 adults
Captain Fernando and his first hand Zack did a top notch job. I wanted to do some shark fishing from the shore and I found these guys for a competitive price. His gear was top notch, he even had a drone that he used to fly our bait 500 yards out, it was awesome to watch. They were very flexible (we changed locations at my request and we got a bit of a late start so they kept on fishing past our end time), professional and informative. We caught a 7ft sand bar shark and it was one of the coolest experiences of my life. I will definitely use their services when I come back to the Gulf next year.
