Depending on conditions, you might hook into Walleye, and who knows what else! On these trips, you can expect to troll.
Capt. Glenn welcomes children aboard, so go ahead and bring the whole family along! If you don’t have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there’s one on board. Feel free to bring your own snacks for a boost of energy when needed!
Your vessel for the day is a 26’ Angler Qwest pontoon boat with room for 6 passengers. It comes with a fighting chair, and everything you need for a productive day on the water. There’s a toilet on board for your convenience. What’s more, this vessel is wheelchair accessible. You’ll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, along with lures.
You’ll have the help of a First Mate to put you on fish. Mates often work for tips and it’s customary to offer them a 10–20% tip.
Before coming aboard, you will need to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.
It’s recommended to bring bottled water, sunglasses, and sunscreen (non-spray). Alcohol is allowed in moderation, so long as you avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
And that’s it! Your fishing trip with Summer Skool Sportfishing is just a click away.
