Hawk’s Nest Charters welcomes kids aboard, so feel free to make a family day out of it! If you don’t have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there’s one on board. Snacks and drinks are permitted onboard — bring your favorites so that everyone stays happy and energized!
Your day begins aboard a 27’ Tidewater center console with capacity for 6 passengers. It comes with outriggers, downriggers, all the essentials. You’ll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, along with lures.
The charter boat covers your fishing license, just show up ready for some fishing! Some fish have special regulations, including when you can keep them. If you don’t know what to expect, ask the captain.
It’s always wise to bring sunglasses, and sunscreen (non-spray). Drinks will be available for you. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, so long as you avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

We had a great trip out with Shay & Jarrett. Both very friendly and hospitable throughout trip. They went above and beyond to make sure we could catch fish and had a great trip. I’d recommend the most experienced anglers to the least with no experience at all. Both very knowledgeable and they did all the dirty work so you could spend all your time catching that big one! 🎣 Definitely look forward to going with this charter again in the near future! 😁

We were happy to have reserved this fishing trip for the four of us. The captain and crew are exceptional. They know all the local fishing spots, and took us to several of them. They shared their expertise with those of us who were fishing for the first time. Our experienced friends and first-timers were equally happy. We have had great catch and photos to prove it!
