Black Seabass, Spanish Mackerel, King Mackerel (Kingfish), Almaco Jack, Redfish, Spotted Seatrout, Bonito, Flounder, Black Drum, Bluefish, Mahi Mahi, and more could be biting, depending on conditions. For these species, you’re likely to troll and bottom fish using light or heavy tackle.

Hawk’s Nest Charters welcomes kids aboard, so feel free to make a family day out of it! If you don’t have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there’s one on board. Snacks and drinks are permitted onboard — bring your favorites so that everyone stays happy and energized!

Your day begins aboard a 27’ Tidewater center console with capacity for 6 passengers. It comes with outriggers, downriggers, all the essentials. You’ll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, along with lures.

The charter boat covers your fishing license, just show up ready for some fishing! Some fish have special regulations, including when you can keep them. If you don’t know what to expect, ask the captain.

It’s always wise to bring sunglasses, and sunscreen (non-spray). Drinks will be available for you. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, so long as you avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
