These waters are home to Lingcod, Chinook Salmon, Coho Salmon, Pink Salmon, Chum Salmon, Sockeye Salmon, Halibut, Rockfish, Squid, Crab, and more, depending on the time of year. On the day of your trip you’re likely to troll and bottom fish using light or heavy tackle.

Capt. Al believes in teaching kids to fish while they’re young, so go ahead and bring the whole family along! Be sure to ask about which child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. Snacks are permitted onboard — bring your favorites so that everyone stays happy and energized!

Your excursion begins aboard a 2023 21’  Stabicraft 2050 Sportfishing vessel with capacity for 3 passengers. It comes with downriggers and all the essentials. There’s a portable toilet on board for your convenience. You’ll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, along with lures. Live bait is included, but you should ask the captain whether you’ll be catching it yourself.

Before coming aboard, it will be required to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect.

Don’t leave home without sunglasses, sunblock (non-spray), bottled water, and a hat. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, so long as you avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
