Professional Cryer Fishing Charters
Montauk has a fish with your name on it, so let Professional Cryer Fishing Charters help you catch it! Your guide for the day is Captain Stephen, allowing you to benefit from years of professional experience.
Striped Bass, Black Seabass, Scup (Porgy), Mako Shark, Thresher Shark, Blue Shark, Bigeye Tuna, Bluefin Tuna, Yellowfin Tuna, Tautog, Flounder, and more can be found in these waters if you come at the right time of year. During the trip you might be trolling, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
Professional Cryer Fishing Charters is a child-friendly charter service, so the whole family can come and unplug for the day! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. Don’t forget to bring snacks for a boost of energy when needed!
You’ll be welcome aboard a 36’ Downeast Osmond Beal with room for 6 passengers. This boat has a large cockpit which allows everyone to feel extremely comfortable when fishing. This boat is equipped with up-to-date safety gear and electronics. A first mate will be on board to help you with your fishing needs which includes cleaning and fileting your catch.
A 20% tip is customary for the mate. Crushed ice is included with the charter.
Quality rods, reels, and tackle are included, as well as lures. Live bait is on offer, but you should ask the captain whether you’ll be catching it yourself.
There’s no need to buy a fishing license, so you can drive right over and come aboard without any hassle! Be mindful that some species may have special rules or limited seasons. If you don’t know what to expect, ask the captain.
It’s always wise to bring sunblock (non-spray), a hat, rubber boots, and sunglasses. Water is included, free of charge. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but the captain tries to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. There’s a toilet on board for your convenience.
