These waters are known for Redfish, Spotted Seatrout, Flounder, Sheepshead, and more – with any luck, it won’t take long to hook into some. On these trips, it’s common to bottom fish using light tackle.
If you’re traveling with the family, you will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! If you don’t have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there’s one on board. Also remember to bring snacks so that everyone stays happy and energized!
Your boat for the day is a 19’ MayCraft center console with room for 4 passengers. It has all the essentials. You’ll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, as well as lures. Live bait is on offer, but you should ask the captain whether you’ll be catching it yourself.
There’s no need to buy a fishing license, so all you have to do is show up ready for a good time! Be mindful that some species may have special rules or limited seasons. Your captain will help you follow regulations while you fish.
Don’t leave home without sunscreen (non-spray) and sunglasses. Bottled water will be available for you. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just be sure to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

Enjoyable 1/2 Day Inshore
Capt Bryan was a perfect host for our trip. He was really great with my 2 boys, (13) and (10), in helping them and interacting with them. We had a tough day of fishing but tried a few different type of spots trying to tease them out. Highlight was fighting and bringing in a shark. Boys enjoyed the fight. Capt Bryan was really engaging and great sense of humor. Fun day and would do it again!!

Pls listen when I say you will not find a better charter/captain in Charleston, super talkative, super friendly, and also knew his way around the water Made sure we were comfortable and enjoying the scenery and gave us great memories He was so determined to get us fish he let us stay a lil extra just to give us the best experience and fish we could get He really paid attention to all the small details too Really cool guy and great captain 10 out of 10 would recommend and will be coming back
