Captain Matthew is there a knowledgeable knows plenty of places to get bites and or catch. I only caught three on this trip, but I had quite a few hits and quite a few fights That Got away at the boat. He knows where each different species of fish is that he takes you out to catch. Next time I go out I'm definitely booking with Captain Matthew Blackwater Charters

My adult son and I fished with Mathew this afternoon. We needed a guide to boat from the gulf, up the canals, and to a property that my son is interested in purchasing. We then proceeded to fish numerous areas picking up a few keepers along the way and having a blast enjoying the day.

Half Day with Captain Matt!
4 Hour Trip – Inshore (AM) on August 14, 2024
We had an excellent day out on the water with Matt. He customized our trip to exactly what we wanted, and with that we brought home dinner (Redfish were delicious!) Matt taught us how to fish, was patient with my teenage daughter and us novice adults. I highly recommend this charter to any family looking to test the waters of fishing while also enjoying the beautiful scenery of Gulf of Mexico!
