Capt. Hunter accommodates all skill levels, age, and experience. Also offers fly fishing, but you may need to bring your own fly gear.
Young ones are welcome, so go ahead and bring the whole family along! Children under 17 must wear life vests during entirety of trip. Don’t forget to bring snacks to stay fueled throughout your trip!
Capt. Hunter runs a 21’ Champion bass boat with capacity for 3 passengers. It has everything you need for a productive day on the water. Capt. Hunter will supply rods and reels for you, as well as lures.
Before coming aboard, it is required to have a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the guide.
You can’t go wrong when you bring sunblock, a hat, bottled water, and sunglasses. If you’d like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed, just avoid glass bottles.

Since I could walk, Ive had a passion for fishing. Fortunately the house I grew up in was 200 yards from a spring fed River. The passion steered me twards wanting to try my hand at bass tournaments. For the past 7 years I hopped in every tournament I could afford to enter. Having quite a bit of sucess locally, I decided it was time to make the jump up in competition. I had always dreamed of being a fishing guide too tho. Naturally, after obtaining a wealth of knowledge on numerous bodies of water. I started guiding. I quickly fell in love with the feeling I got watching someone catch, and hold the fish of their dreams. However at the same time I never gave up on my tournament dreams. I made the jump to Fishing the biggest circuts Texas has. This past season i was super blessed to win Bass Champs Angler Of The Year, and Team Trail Outdoors Angler Of The Year. With a good bit of success in the bigger Texas tournaments, I now am starting to set sights on going Pro. I use my guide trips to fund my tournament fishing. Each and every person who has booked a trip with me, helped me tremendously on my journey. I would be honored to earn your buisness, and help you catch that fish you’ve been dreaming of.
