Fishing isn’t just about casting another line – it’s a whole experience, and Slo Fly Fishing And Fly Tying is here to offer exactly that!
Around here you can cast a line in remote river waters, including some honeyholes that only a local guide can show you.
Depending on the season, you might hook into Brown Trout, Rainbow Trout, Northern Pike, Grayling , Brook Trout, and af course marble trout! Depending on the species you’re after, you will find yourself fly fishing, and you can rent all the gear.
You will have to find accommodation yourself or contact Jure to book it for you. He is a guide on the river. If you need to rent gear, contact the charter operator ahead of time to find out how.
Slo Fly Fishing And Fly Tying is a child-friendly. Bring whole family along! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own.
You and anyone fishing with you may need to purchase a local fishing license . You can usually find that information online, or reach out to the lodging coordinator here.
Meals are not included in the price so be sure to learn more about your options ahead of time.

Half Day Trip
Amazing Fly Fishing Day with Jure
The half-day (6-hour) fly-fishing trip with our guide, Jure, was fantastic. From the start he asked what kind of experience we wanted - location, target species, timing - and tailored everything accordingly. As complete beginners, my girlfriend and I let him decide, and it was absolutely the right call. He took us to the Sava Bohinjka near Lake Bled, where the scenery alone was worth the trip. Jure brought top equipment and was an excellent, patient teacher who showed us the basics of fly fishing. Thanks to his clear instruction, both of us landed several brown and rainbow trout - far more than we expected on our first day with a fly rod. Catch and release is possible, but you can also take fish home if you wish. We would definitely recommend a fishing trip with Jure to anyone, whether you’re new to fly fishing or already experienced.
