Depending on the time of year, you might hook into Mangrove Snapper, Lane Snapper, Snook, Jack Crevalle, African Pompano Jack, Black Grouper, Speckled Trout, Crappie, Largemouth Bass, Tarpon, and plenty more. You can expect to do some spinning, trolling, jigging, or maybe something more specialized in this area.

If you’re traveling with the family, you will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. You’re welcome to bring snacks so that nobody gets cranky on an empty stomach!

You’ll be casting lines from a 22’ Sportsman bay boat that holds up to 4 passengers. It has all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. Your captain will provide rods and reels, along with lures. Live bait is available, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you’ll be catching it yourself.

There’s no need to buy a fishing license, so you can drive right over and come aboard without any hassle! Keep in mind that some fish may have harvest limits or closed seasons. Your captain will help you follow regulations while you fish.

Don’t leave home without sunglasses, sunscreen (non-spray), and a hat. There will be some drinks on offer, but let the captain know if you wish to bring your own. Alcohol is not allowed.
