Black Drum, Flounder, Redfish, Sheepshead, Mangrove Snapper, Snook, Speckled Trout, and more could be biting, depending on the time of year. Depending on the species you're after, you may find yourself light tackle fishing, popping, drifting, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area. And artificial lure trips are available as well!
Trips with V.O. Charters are fun for all ages, so get 'em offline and onto the water! If you don't have a child-sized life vest of your own, they provide life jackets for children of all sizes! All children under the age of 13 are required under Texas law to wear a life jacket. Remember to bring plenty of snacks to ward off mid day fatigue
Your day begins aboard a 21' Shallow Sport with room for 4 passengers. It has a bow casting platform for spotting Redfish in the flats, and all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. Rods, reels, and tackle are covered by the charter, as well as lures. Live bait is included, except for croaker, with the charter price. Depending on what time of year it is, we'll determine what bait we will be using.
Before coming aboard, it is required for anyone 17 or older to buy a local fishing license. This information is usually available online, via the Texas Parks and Wildlife website, or you can ask the captain for any other suggestions. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.
Don't forget to bring sunscreen (non-spray), and sunglasses. Drinks will be available for you. Your welcome to bring your own alcoholic beverages, but glass bottles are prohibited.

It doesn’t matter what kind of day you’re having out on the water with Captain Victoria you’re almost always guaranteed a wonderful time on top of that fish in the box. She knows her way around the bay very well has her own little honey holes for plucking out some really nice size flounder, My personal favorite is fishing for sheepshead which we do every time they’re running in February, Black drum is also a special treat for me and when we catch them, she always lets me hold them first before going into the box so I can fill the special grunting that sounds like a drum beating. It’s an incredible feeling. Oh don’t get me started on snappers either, She’s a very skilled captain and knows her way around the bay without GPS she grew up out here and knows her way around well I highly recommend her five stars
This trip was more than I could have asked are. Victor was a wonderful guide and everything he did was to make our trip a wonderful experience. He put us on the fish and it was a wonderful wonderful afternoon God bless him for this wonderful time.
