Josh grew up on the Umpqua river and has been fishing his home waters for over 30 years.
He has been guiding for over 12 years and its no secret that he loves being on the water.

Captain Josh offers fishing trips for Smallmouth Bass, Winter Steelhead, Striped Bass, American Shad, Chinook and Coho Salmon.

This is a family friendly fishing experience for all ages from either a 17' Pavati drift boat or 24' North River Scout. Both are very comfortable.

From casting for Striped Bass or Salmon to Anchor fishing for Spring Chinook. It’s hard to have a bad day on the Umpqua River.

Josh is a very easy going guide that is always happy to meet new clients and returning ones regularly become friends.

Josh is a fine guide who grew up on the Umpqua and knows it like the back of his hand. This smallmouth trip was a birthday present for with my 13 year old grandson (our second with Josh) and was a delight. Josh is personable, professional, and patient. As the father of a young child, he does a marvelous job with kids encouraging them and teaching the joys of fishing.
