There’s a fish with your name on it in Florida City and Captain Ty Sikes will help you catch it! With Captain Ty at the helm, you’re in knowledgeable and experienced hands.
Garfish, Largemouth Bass, Peacock Bass, Alligator Gar, and more could be biting if you cast your line at the right time of year. For these species, you’re likely to using light tackle.
Thinking of bringing the whole family? Kids are absolutely welcome! If you don’t have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there’s one on board. Don’t forget to bring snacks for a boost of energy when needed!
Your fishing machine for the day is a 17’ Ranger flats boat that holds up to 3 passengers. It comes with all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. Capt. Ty will supply rods and reels for you, as well as lures. Live bait is on offer, but it’s good to ask about this so you know if you’ll be catching it yourself.
Your fishing license for the day is covered by the charter boat, so all you have to do is show up ready for a good time! Be mindful that some species may have special rules or limited seasons. Simply ask and your captain can tell you more.
Don’t leave home without sunglasses, a hat, sunblock (non-spray), and bottled water. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but try to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
Go ahead and treat yourself to a day on the water with Captain Ty Sikes.

6 Hour Trip – Peacock Bass
Greatest freshwater trip ever! We caught 50+ fish during the 3/4 day trip. At least 4 different species (peacock bass, large mouth bass, alligator gar, Mayan cichlid) and just missed a snook and bowfin. My son (21 years old) is a better than average fisherman and I am barely a novice. Ty made sure that we were both comfortable and catching fish all day. He is very knowledgeable and a great guy. Ty communicated with me before the trip, coordinated the location, and made sure we were prepared to fish. I highly recommend Ty to anyone looking for freshwater fishing. His boat is clean, comfortable and perfect for fishing the canals. It was a day we will remember for forever. Ty will certainly be part of our next mother/son fishing trip!
