Key West has a fish with your name on it, so let Shane Wood Charters help you catch it! Your guide for the day is Captain Shane, allowing you to benefit from 20 years of professional experience On these waters!
These waters are known for Tarpon, Bonefish, Permit, Great Barracuda, Jack Crevalle, and more – with any luck, you’ll have tight lines in no time.
On these trips, Capt. Shane offers fly fishing, Spin fishing, artificial, or bait.
Any fish you catch will be released.
If you’re traveling with the family, you will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! If you don’t have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there’s one on board. Feel free to bring your own snacks so that nobody gets grumpy on an empty stomach!
Your vessel for the day is a 17’ Maverick HPX Flats boat with space for 2 passengers or three if there is a small child. It comes with everything you need for a productive day on the water.
Your captain will provide rods and reels, as well as lures. Live bait is available, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you’ll be catching it yourself.
The charter boat covers your fishing license, just show up ready for some fishing! Some fish have special regulations, including when you can keep them. If you don’t know what to expect, ask the captain.
A few items to bring include bottled water, sunglasses, and sunblock (non-spray). If you’d like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, so long as you avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
The click of a button is the only thing keeping you from a great day on the water with Shane Wood Charters!
