These waters are known for Catfish, and more – with any luck, it won’t take long to hook into some. On the day of your trip you’re likely to drift and bottom fish using light tackle.

Children are welcome, so feel free to make a family day out of it! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. Also remember to bring snacks for a boost of energy when needed!

Your day begins aboard a 24’ Sylvan pontoon boat with room for 6 passengers. It comes with everything you need for a productive day on the water. Your captain will provide rods and reels. Live bait is available, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you’ll be catching it yourself.

You will need to purchase a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.

Some essentials to bring are sunglasses, and sunscreen (non-spray). Bottled waters are included, free of charge. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
