If you’re ready to start fishing in Auckland, book a trip with Fish ‘N’ Trips Charters.
Kingfish, Trevally, Kahawai, and more are on the cards, depending on the time of year. You can expect to do some bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
Fish ‘N’ Trips Charters welcomes kids aboard, so the whole family can come and unplug for the day! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. Also, remember to bring snacks to maintain your energy throughout the trip!
Your fishing machine for the day is a 28’ Saunders Cruiser with room for 6 fishermen. It has all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. There’s a toilet on board for your convenience. Capt. Leon has rods and reels for you. Live bait is available, but please don’t hesitate to ask the captain whether you’ll catch it.
Don’t leave home without sunblock (non-spray), a hat, bottled water, and sunglasses. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

Awesome day on the water with Fish & Trips
Had an absolutely wonderful day fishing with the crew - they couldn't do enough for us and nothing was too much trouble. Peter & Robert were so great helping us out the entire day. Fish were biting and there was fun & laughter all around. It was great that rods & bait were all included in the price (which was so reasonable) & we didn't have to worry about a thing .. just walk on board. It made it even better that we came home with a haul of fish! We are now part of the Fish & Trip family and I'm sure we'll be back. Thank you for making this day so special - highly recommended you made it a very memorable day. Thank you guys & hope to see you soon.

We booked a half day of fishing for my teenage son's birthday and the group had an awesome time. Robert and John were fantastic, attentive, entusiastic hosts. My son is hoping to do it again soon!

Crumby gear, questionable boat
Some of the rods and reels were in disrepair. Gear was not checked before our trip. Drag was not properly set of some reels, others had line tangled on the spool when handed to customers. The boat was slow and cost us time we could have been fishing.
