If you are looking to go fishing while in Nashville, I am happy to help. Percy Priest is less than 20 minutes from downtown and has great fishing opportunity. I enjoy teaching both first time anglers and those who are experienced, but looking to learn more or a new lake.
During our time on the lake, we can fish for either Largemouth and Smallmouth Bass, or we can fish for Crappie. If fishing for Crappie, we will use garmin livescope realtime sonar techniques that allow us to see the fish bite on the screen.
You can bring a small cooler for drinks and snacks.
I have everything needed to fish during our trip, but if you would like to bring your own tackle, feel free to. Live bait is used for Crappie.
Before coming aboard, it will be required to buy a local fishing license. If you have any questions, feel free to ask.

Douglas HamesRepeat angler4.7VerifiedTaylor is very knowledgeable and put us on fish
4 Hour Trip – 'Till Dark on August 18, 2026 • 2 adultsWe were able to bring two small mouth and two large mouth in the boat. He has some amazing equipment and was able to show us where the fish were at, and we could actually see our bait dropping where they were hanging out. Just wasn’t a good biting day. I highly recommend him as he is a super friendly gentleman and very knowledgeable on this Lake. We will definitely go again.
