Your trip begins aboard a 22’ Majek bay boat with space for 3 passengers. It has everything you need for a productive day on the water. Rods and reels are covered by the charter, so ask the captain about bringing your own if you’d like.Life jackets are covered but it would be ideal to bring your own that you are comfortable wearing.
You will need to buy a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect.
You can’t go wrong when you bring sunglasses, sunblock (non-spray), and bottled water. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

Great first time trip
This was my Dad and husbands first time trip going out on a fishing trip. My dad has fished before but my husband has not really fished. The captain is a very kind fella who was genuine and nice. They had fun zipping around the bay. Slade will definitely be our choice for a guide on standby! We did go during an off season, however, slade gave us recommendations for when to come back and fish with him.
